Why Life Groups?

Life Groups are a key way to get connected and be encouraged to grow spiritually. God did not design us to go through life alone. He designed us to be in relationship with one another. Life Groups are the best way to help you go from just attending a service to connecting with others at Peace Lutheran Church and developing a deeper relationship with Christ. We not only want you to encounter the truth of God’s love and grace on Sunday mornings, we want you to experience it in life with others during the week.

What are Life Groups?

Life Groups are small groups that meet regularly to connect with each other and God. Connection is an essential part of growth. Our goal is to help move people from where they are to where God wants them to be. We believe that connection to a community with God’s people is essential to spiritual growth and therefore helps us to fulfill the purpose that God has for the Church. At Peace, we accomplish this through Life Groups.

Why Join a Life Group?

The answer to this question is simple. It’s biblical. God intended for you to do life with others. And it’s part of what we do as a church: to honor God, build healthy relationships, live life together and serve others. That’s why we created Life Groups! We wanted to create an environment where everyone knows your name–a safe place where you can worship, connect and serve with others.

Three Ways to Join a Life Group!

One of our goals for Life Groups is for 100% of those who attend our church to be connected in a Life Group “community”.  We make it easy!  We have Home Based Bible Study Life Groups, Serve Life Groups, and Special Interest Life Groups, and during our Annual All-In Series, everyone is invited to join our new, short-term Journey Groups.

We encourage you to find a group, or start a group, and “do life” together!
