Sunshine, Sabbath, and Summer Blessings

Summer is here and with it comes God’s goodness in full bloom. From sticky popsicles to starry nights, these warmer months are packed with reminders of His creation and grace.

Creation on Display: Summer puts God’s handiwork front and center; sunsets, gardens, lakes, and laughter.

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.” Psalm 19:1

Family Time: With school out, there’s more time for connection and sometimes chaos. But every game night, road trip, and marshmallow roast is a gift.

“Love one another with brotherly affection.  Outdo one another in showing honor.” Romans 12:10

Spiritual Rest: Summer slows us down a great time to rest in Christ and soak in His Word.

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Worship and Fellowship: Whether it’s in flip-flops or folding chairs at a picnic service, worship remains the heart of our life together.

“not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:25

So let’s grab your sunscreen and your Bible!

“This is the day the Lord has made; let’s rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
