CROSS Fit at Peace
What is CROSS fit? CROSS fit is a deliberate, intentional, step-by-step discipleship process that matures and strengthens serious followers of Jesus. By the end of the CROSS fit training, followers of Jesus will be thoroughly equipped to be dynamic disciples of Jesus Christ, and a member of Peace!
Basic Training 101: This class will teach the basics of the Lutheran faith in a relaxed environment. This class is primarily for those who want to know more about Christianity from a Lutheran perspective or those who have come to us from other denominations. This class runs every other month for 4 weeks and is taught by Pastor Dave Ahlman. Classroom A, 9:15-10:15 on Sundays.
Strength Training 201: This class is highly recommended for all members who want to learn the disciplines of a quiet- time devotion with God. Learning how to meditate on the Word, how to have a devotional life, and how to develop a consistent prayer life. This class runs every other month for 4 weeks, and is taught by Frank Melander. Classroom A, 9:15-10:15 on Sundays.
Live Fit 301: This class helps participants learn where they fit in the family of God. Learning their S.H.A.P.E., they will be able to see how they can participate in the mission and ministry of Peace Lutheran Church. This class runs every other month for 4 weeks, taught by Gary Pierson. Classroom B, 9:15-10:15 on Sundays.
Planet Witness 401: This class will help the attendees understand the impact of one’s personal witness in the world (planet) for Jesus. Participants will learn where their mission field is and how to reach people on that field with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. This class runs every other month for 4 weeks. Classroom B, 9:15-10:15 on Sundays.
