Rev. Guy Roberts

Senior Pastor

Above all, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. I get to live this out daily in service to my wife, Emily and our two sons - Zane and Jax. What brings me the most joy in life is watching my boys grow in their walk with the Lord. A close second is watching God’s children at Peace grow in their walk with the Lord. I am passionate about ministry, and I tend to live with an eye to the unbeliever. My responsibilities at Peace include the leadership of staff, teaching, preaching and strategic planning. When I’m not at home or work, you will find me hunting, fishing or following the Oregon State Beavers sports teams.

Rev. Tim Lindeman

Associate Pastor

It is truly my pleasure to serve our Lord God together with the people of Peace Lutheran Church! It has been my pleasure to serve Him in numerous ways over the years. I was originally trained as a... Director of Christian Education and in Elementary Education at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. Later, I earned a Masters degree in Educational Administration from the University of Northern Colorado.

My family and I first came to Peace in 1990 when I was called to serve as Director of Christian Education and Youth. After nearly 30 years as a DCE, I was ordained in 2011 and called as Associate Pastor to serve in the area of Congregational Care. While at Concordia, I met my wife, Lisa. It has been my privilege to work beside her in ministry during our years of marriage. We’ve also been blessed with three children – Jenna, Christa, and David. As I mentioned earlier, I am honored and privileged to serve our Lord here at Peace! What a blessing it is to live and serve in a Christian family, reaching out to others with the love of Christ! I am excited to see where the Lord leads us and how He will bless us in the future!

Dawn Lubker

Ministry Assistant

I’m Dawn Lubker, Ministry Assistant at Peace. I was born and raised in West Point, Nebraska. I graduated from a specialty school where I received training in interior design. I also have 2 years of... behavioral science classes from Red Rocks Community College. I moved to Denver in 1979 and married my high school sweetheart, Joel. We have been blessed with 2 children, who are now married with growing families (all boys!) of their own. We enjoy being able to spend time with them and watch our grandchildren grow. We also enjoy projects around the house (my husband is a ‘carpenter extraordinaire’), watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

I have been a member of Peace since 1980 and have served in a variety of volunteer positions over the years. I began as part-time staff (Children's Ministry, then Secretary) in1994. In 2005, I moved into the full-time administrative assistant position. In 2009, I became the Ministry Assistant supporting the pastors with scheduling and communication as well as working with the staff and leadership to help set and achieve goals in accordance with the pastor’s vision for the church. It is an exciting time to be part of the future planning process as Peace seeks to reach the community for Christ.

Lydia Massie

Director of Children's Ministry

My family and I moved from Texas to Colorado in January 2020 with my husband's job. We have enjoyed the mountains and the cooler weather. I graduated in 2002 with a Masters in Public Administration, but decided fairly quickly to be a "mostly" stay at home mom while my children were younger....As they got older, I taught in preschools and subbed in the local junior and senior high schools in Texas. After we moved to Colorado, I have worked at Peace and Bethlehem in their preschool programs. Being a Children's Minister is a new type of job for me, but I am excited to work with the elementary and preschool aged children at Peace.

Lauren Von Rentzell

Director of NexGen Ministries

I’m Lauren Von Rentzell, Director of NexGen Ministries. I was born and raised in the Arvada area and have been attending Peace my whole life.... My path to working with the youth was a little winding. I attended our youth group while in high school at Arvada West, took a few detours including attend CSU where I received my bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, teaching preschool, and managing YMCA summer camps for 7 years. I have served at Peace in a variety of roles over the past six years (preschool teacher, Sunday school coordinator, VBS director.) After my husband Nathan (also a fellow Peace youth group alum) and I had our 3 children, Lotte, Freddy, and Ozzy, things came full-cirlce and I began my work as NextGen Ministries leader in an official capacity. When I am not at Peace I love quilting, antiquing, traveling, and paddle boarding with my family. I truly love working with the youth and I am inspired by the amazing young people we have to serve alongside in God’s kingdom.
