Blue Christmas

Blue Christmas is a Western Christian tradition that takes place on or around the longest night of the year, usually December 21. It’s a day to acknowledge and support people who are experiencing sadness, grief, anxiety, or isolation during the holidays.
The tradition includes a solemn worship service that honors people who have lost loved ones and are grieving. The service often includes opportunities to express grief and heartbreak, and to focus on the hope found in Christ.
