Dear Peace Family

This week’s blog post is one that is bittersweet to me. At the end of June, I will be resigning as the Director of Children’s Ministry. First and foremost, I want to thank all of you for the opportunity I have been given to serve in this position for the past three years. Serving in this position has grown me in a multitude of ways, and I will be forever grateful for the support that I have received from all of you. It has been a huge privilege to support our children and families through this ministry.
At this time, the plan is for my family to continue as an integral part of the ministry at Peace. We love our church family, and we are so blessed to have found such a wonderful church home after moving to a new place. My personal future plans are a bit more up in the air as there are a few things going on in my life that require more flexibility to travel. My desire is to spend more time in Texas with my family and, perhaps, go back to school.
Regardless of where the Lord leads me next personally, I want to reiterate my thankfulness for everything that I have been given in my time as a staff member at Peace. It has been a joy to work with and for you as a congregation, and I look forward to working with you all as we look to the future that God has planned for us at Peace.
