Celebrate!

It seems as though people are always looking for something to celebrate. Engagements, weddings, anniversaryʻs, birthdays, child birth and holidays are some of the oldies but goodies that I remember celebrating as a kid. Heck, we even celebrated the new calves born on my uncleʻs dairy farm! Of course, that was in Wisconsin and they didnʻt need much of a reason to open a keg! There are new, very unusual new celebrations that I would rather not comment.
I went to a “Celebration of Life” a couple weeks ago. People, much smarter than I, have probably already contemplated this, but, I started thinking, shouldnʻt every day be a “celebration of life”? Why do we say celebration of life after the person is dead? Did they celebrate life when they had the opportunity?Better yet, did they celebrate a life of serving others? Do we? “Let us do good to everyone, especially those who are in the household of Faith” Galatians 6:10. Every day of our life is a gift from God! Itʻs an amazing incredible gift worthy of our celebration every day of our life. “This is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it”! Psalm 118:27. “You Lord, have granted me life and steadfast love, and your care has preserved my spirit.” Job 10:12.
Itʻs time to celebrate the gifts from our Father and our life of serving others!!
In Him!
