Preparing for Lent
As we dive into February, the Lenten season is just around the corner. For many of us, Lent offers a special opportunity to reflect, grow, and renew our faith. But how do we prepare for this meaningful time?
Psalm 103:14 reminds us, “For he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.” This verse speaks volumes about our human frailty and the importance of humility as we approach Lent. It’s a time to acknowledge our limitations and seek the grace and mercy of God as we journey through this season of reflection and repentance. Take time to meditate on the verse and the significance of our human frailty and the grace God gives.
Ecclesiastes 3:20 “All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return.” This verse is a reminder of our mortality and the brief time we have on this earth. As we prepare for Lent, let’s remember to make the most of each moment, using our time wisely to draw closer to God and serve others.
Acts 3:19: “Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.”Repentance cleanses us. Lent offers us a time to do so.
As we prepare for Lent, let’s approach this season with hearts of humility, gratitude, service, and repentance, seeking to grow closer to God and embody the love of Christ in all that we do. May this Lenten season be a time of deep spiritual renewal and transformation for each of us. Blessings on your journey!
